We currently collect and process the following information:

  • your feedback on the quality and effectiveness of our product but only if you supply your contact details (if you do not supply your contact details then no personal information is collected);

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • you have made a purchase from us via our website;

  • you have sent us an email either directly or via the contact form on our website;

  • you have completed the anonymous feedback form on our website and supplied your contact details for further follow-up;

  • you are an employee of one of our business suppliers and we have your information to facilitate our working relationship;

  • you have made an information request to us;

  • you have visited our website for reasons other than to make a purchase.

We use the information that you have given us in order to provide you with a service, to improve our product, and monitor and improve our website.

We will not share your information with any other party for the purpose of direct marketing.

We work with third parties in the course of running our business and full details of these are given below as well as links to the relevant company’s privacy policy.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is either your consent or in relation to the website analytics information, we rely on Article 6(1)(f) which allows us to process personal data when it’s necessary for our legitimate interests. In this instance this is to maintain the integrity of our IT systems and the continuity of our business. You can object to this if you want to. However, there are legitimate reasons why we may refuse your objection, including a strong reason to continue processing your data that overrides your objection.

How we store your personal information

Processing payments

When making a purchase via our website, you will make a payment via Stripe, an online payment processing company for internet businesses like ours. Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1 . This is the highest and most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. Shipping our product to you

All orders will be posted to you via Royal Mail so we will share your name and address with them for this purpose. Please read the Royal Mail Privacy Policy to see how they protect your information.

Analytics

When someone visits our website, we use Google Analytics and Squarespace Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone.

Google stores data across its data centres, a number of which are located within the EU, and whose capabilities and commitments to EU data protection are monitored and verified by the European Commission to ensure compliance.

How long we keep your information

We keep all information relating to financial transactions for the period required by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs for tax reporting purposes. After that date it will be deleted securely.

In relation to enquiries and feedback, we will keep your information for 6 months from the date of our last contact. We will then dispose of it securely.

If you’re an employee of a supplier with whom we work, we will keep your information for as long as we have an active working relationship.
